Task 1- The skill that i need to improve the most on is getting started. For me getting started is hard because I'm a lazy person. I just like to wait til the last moment and try to start something which eventually i don't finish due to the fact that i waited to late or i just didn't feel like finishing it. Having this problem has really kept me behind in a lot of my assignment and i try to work at but i just cant help it. I think with the right motivation upon doing the assignment will help me with finishing it.
Task 2-
Taking notes in class
- Complete the assign readings for the class before coming to class
- Coming to class prepared with pen or pencil
- paying attention to teacher while he or she is talking
- Review notes after class
- Check with other students for I notes left out or didn't get
Procrastination
- Stop putting of an assignment
- Think more positive upon doing an assignments
- Stop giving up on assignments
- Eliminate all distractions
- Commit myself to finishing an assignments
Task 3-
My service learning job is great. I love hands on activities that involve having the right skills and the smarts to the job and that's what the program has provided for me. I have learn how to change the water pump on a lawn mower and how to sharpen the blades on chainsaws and weed eaters. Being around the people i work with has giving me the chance to work in a great work environment, the are very nice and very helpful in gaining knowledge to better my skills at knowing my craft and line of work. I really think that having this internships at this jobs will help me in the future because this is one stage of my career that is vital to my success.
